SCHEME OF EXAMINATIONS
At the end of the first three months of the course, students are required to appear the Preliminary Training Students Examination after which their eligibility to continue the course is determined.

On completion of every academic year, the students need to appear the Annual Examination conducted by the Assam Nurses’ Midwives and Health Visitors’ Council. Successful students are promoted to the next year.

Students who do not pass in two or more subjects will be held back for a period of six months, after which they need to repeat the examination before they can be promoted. A student needs to clear examinations of first and second year before being promoted to the third year.



DISCIPLINE
Students are expected to abide by the rules and regulations of the School of Nursing, Satribari Christian Hospital. Ragging is strictly prohibited. It is illegal according to the Law of India to commit, participate in, abet or propagate “ragging”. The institution will deal firmly and strictly with all instances of ragging.

Smoking, consumption of tobacco products, use of illicit drugs and alcohol are strictly prohibited in the School , Hostel and Hospital premises. If any student is found to possess or use any tobacco products, illicit drugs or alcohol, severe disciplinary action would be taken.

VACATION
Students are given 30 days’ vacation for every academic year.
